I've been reflecting a lot on the recent controversy concerning Obama's pastor and some inflammatory things he has said. I've visited some black churches in my time and it is quite a different experience. You just have to be there to experience what I'm talking about. I've concluded that it is natural for white people to perceive black preachers as "crazy" or over the edge. But in reality, it is the world of preaching that black people are used to. As "over the top" as some black preachers seem to be, I hear more about killings going on at white churches.
Anyway, I thought I would post a couple of sermons to demonstrate what I'm talking about. Let me know if they speak to your heart.
