Before you go, do you want to have one last fight about whether men are endowed by their creator with an inalienable right to a government-endorsed marriage to somebody of the same sex?

In all seriousness, I respect your decision. While I wish that the effort to eliminate cheaters wasn't all bark and no bite, my level of playing is so low that the presence of such cheaters makes no practical difference to me, so I will continue to play here. I can understand why higher rated players would prefer to play elsewhere.

Are you still playing in OTB tournaments or are you still in the Galapagos Islands (do they have OTB tournaments there?)?

I leave for Galapagos in about a week.

This week I'm actually playing OTB in the U.S. Open. I've got 1 point in five games, with four more to go. I've gotten whooped by a couple masters, but I've enjoyed it. Reviewing the games with them has been enlightening and humbling. It's remarkable the degree to which some people understand the game, orders of magnitude more than I do, and those aren't even the grandmasters. From here on out I should have some more reasonable pairings, and I've been playing well, so I expect to pick up a few more points and possibly get a class prize.

No, but for old time sakes you can go to this thread http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=26877&page=12 and read KellyJay's and Ivanhoe's comments on how much I like to kill babies.

Good work; I'm entering a small OTB tourney up the road in a couple of weeks (I finally joined the USCF) which will be my first since high school many moons ago. There are some bigger events in the fall around here that usually draw some 2100+ rated players and even an occasional Grandmaster. I'm interested to see how I do without the books, databases and unlimited time RHP gives ya. BTW, I'm committed to finishing up my games and I still have about 25 to go so I'll be around for a while. I've been skipping the Spirituality forum as it seems rather pointless to argue with people who always fall back to "Goddunnit" and it has lost whatever amusment value it once had (these people are 100% serious; EGADS!).

No1: "After considerable thought, I have decided to limit my participation at RHP from now on."

No1: "Therefore, I will re-subscribe but limit my games to finishing up what I have now plus the two clan leagues for at least one more season."

No1: " I will also still attempt to schedule MEGACHALLENGES with other clans and will play in those."

No1: "I am also pretty tired of the nonsense in the Spirituality Forum and will stop posting or even reading it altogether."

Ha ha ha ha ..... the usual promises. No1 will NOT leave RHP ..... ha ha ha ......

This should make for an interesting debate.

No1 is in quite a conundrum. If he stays to debate Ivanhoe, then Ivanhoe wins. If he goes, then Ivanhoe gets the last word and wins.

I'll post where I want. This is a call out thread, which no Wolfpack member is allowed to ignore, the "god is punishing me" thread marks Mateulose's return from the dead (saints be praised!) and I also made a post in a thread concerning my uncle Frogstomp. These are very limited exceptions and I have no wish to return to the tedious "debates" with religious fanatics who always come up with "Goddunnit" as their final fallback position. I have no idea why you are sooooooooooo interested in me, Ivanhoe but my supermodel wife is getting jealous.

Dammit, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out who that reminded me of. Of course, it was Mateulose. I must admit that I've never seen such perfection of victimhood.
