You use a lot of lower-case letters. That sorta implies you aren't necessarily asking about the Abrahamic God.

That God is a raping abusive prude, for sure. Check out some of the Eastern gods if you want steamy supernatural sex full of giving love.

the lower case is a habit from my old zx spectum programming days, mixed with a slight physical impairment due to tendon issues on my little fingers, that make the shift keys....little fkrs to hit.

God is not human but he did create all things and that includes humans and all that we are. He no doubt understands way beyond our abilites to know the complexaties of what he created for us to feel. He doesn't need to feel anything we do as he created them and does not need to experiance them.

If God made anything better, He is keeping it to Himself.

So extrapolating your answer we get - Whatever is experienced is experienced by God therefore "God" is in all who experience. Right?
(Which would mean that there is no "God", only us or only "God" and no us??? )

not needing to feel is very different from feeling and understanding feelings is different from actually feeling. isnt it important that god feels what we feel? isnt that partly why he sent jesus?

Not to worry...rumor has it that JC was gettin' it on with Mary Magdelene behind the scenes. It was the crazy Catholics who scrubbed it from the record. Part of their bizarre Celibacy fixation.

its funny, nobody wants to say that god knows what it feels like to have sex. if they say he does then it implies he's been doing the nasty. if he doesnt know then there are things we know that he doesnt.........which isnt possible. the other alternative is that he feels what we feel vicariously making god some sort of creepy voyeur.

I like to think there's some progeny, flying under the radar for the past few millenia. And I'm solid secular, go figure. Plus I love Lilith.

Correct. If Jesus got married, why wouldn't He have consummated the marriage?

My theory: Religion gets a lot of authority from regulating sex. If we allowed ourselves to think that God ever did it, then it might not be considered 'dirty' anymore and thus the church would lose the power to tell us who we can sleep with.
