    http://www.people.com/article/new-jersey-girl-cancer-free-after-meeting-the-pope

That is so ridiculous as to be beyond compare. But it happens all the time.

It is nice the little girl feels good and such and is pronounced cancer free but that may just be the doctors trying to make her feel good.

One year cancer free does not make someone 100% cancer free,

TEN years cancer free is more like a true remission.

This is just preposterous and should never make the news.

The concept of getting popes / saints to intercede is idolatry and unchristian.

The minor point here being it was no intercede, the pope has no healing powers.

Causation and correlation. How do you know it wasn't a placebo effect?

Have there been studies relating placebo effect to reducing tumor size? Curing cancer? That seems a stretch to me.

    They like their Jesuit Pope.

As to the cure, there are things, powers, abilities we don't always recognize.
These are not found in human beings.

    For example the Bible says:
(2 Corinthians 11:14.15) 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing extraordinary if his ministers also keep disguising themselves as ministers of righteousness. But their end will be according to their works.
