I have a suspicion that the doctrine of the Trinity is a little above what this thread has to offer. Perhaps a link would suffice:

The trinity is one of the biggest mysteries of christianity. The very word trinity implies that God suffers from a multiple personality disorder - or at the very least that he enjoys a good game of roleplaying from time to time - (how original of me, eh?) but it also leaves one open to the question: What other characters are hosted by God's essence that christians aren't willing to recognise?

Perhaps trinity is actually a bad word to describe his entire being.

    Maybe there's eight of him?
    The buddhist eightfold way ...

    Or maybe he's a computer programmer's dream and there's 16 of him.

He does sound a little schizophrenic ...

And how come its always a 'he'? Does that imply it is male and therefore needs female gods? Does that imply it has to reproduce?
Doesn't the bible call it 'he' about 10,000 times?

It's a fairly simple concept. God is the divine equivalent of a three-layer burrito.

Not everyone is a Child of God.

You may have been created by God but that doesn't mean that you are a child of God.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
