I don't beleive that nuclear power is necessary, and there is a ton of dangerous waste material to handle/get ride of at the end of the process to make power.

If we had gone down the Tesla route we probably wouldn't need power stations on the scale that we have them and there would be free electicity at domestic level.

When JP Morgan realised this Telsa's lab was raided and all of his work destroyed.

Hey, medullah... how are things with you. My take on this is that God, with good reason has put into the psyche of mankind the desire to explore and discover. That human trait cannot be suppressed. Man will attempt to go to another galaxy if he can if only to claim that he succeeded. There is no good reason for many of mankinds acheivements and often its just to claim that they can do it so they did it.
