We are all sinners...because of what Adam did.

We are all "saved" from this "failing" of ours...because of what Jesus did.

What is with this proxy system?

Any minute now a theist is going to come along and tell you (with a straight face) what their supposedly "all powerful" God can't do.

Not "all" are saved. Only those who "receive" Jesus Christ.

Do you have a better verb than "receive"? That doesn't make sense to me.

There is a difference between not being able to do something and choosing to not do something.

Edit: Actually when I posted this my face was anything but straight. In fact, I was flaring my nostrils back with one hand and at the same time taking the other hand to bring my upper lip down over my chin while typing this with my toes. Please don't make me do this again just to prove you wrong. It is actually very painful and difficult to do.

Are we only damned if we "receive" Adam?

He should keep the term. I like the gay subtext.

Nope. Still too vague and nebulous.

Surely god could have been more choosey with the choice of names, Adam is just so unoriginal.
