Best listened to on earphones or headphones. The soundtrack has masses of deep bass, stark stereo imaging, and half-buried sounds everywhere.

Each of the 27 Onions potentially has resonance or connotations ~ to varying degrees, admittedly ~ that could be discussed on a Spirituality Forum.

This is indeed controversial; some chefs claim that Dark Onions don't exist, whilst others believe that without them most savoury dishes would become unstable and implode, citing French Onion Soup as an example.
