They represent the same being. All three names refer to the same being.
Satan is the Devil - that is easy:
"And the great dragon, was cast down, the ancient serpent, he who is called the Devil and Satan ..." (Rev. 12:9)
Right there. The ancient serpent is the one who is called the Devil AND Satan.
To show that Day Star (Latin Lucifer) is this same being requires a little more work. Day Star the Son of the Morning is refernece to Satan in his pre-Adamic age as the Anointed Cherub. This is some kind of angelic being very close to God.
Our sources for this are found in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. Some dispute this interpretation. I am convinced of its soundness after having read a number of well written books on the subject along with my own Bible study.

I want first to know what the Bible is teaching. I don't go to Dante's Inferno, or Faust, or Paradise Lost, Screwtape Letters, or other great prose to abtain my essentials anwers.
First I want to know from where did they obtain these ideas and what does the source teach about them.

I don't remember which is which. But one is translated "lord of the dunghill" and the other is "lord of the flies" to the best of my recollection.
But this is off the cuff and may need some correction. I await it.
