No, because Adam was a village, not a person. The people in Adam had navels.

Not the first time I have encountered the idea that the whole Adam and Eve and Eden story was all about the end of the hunter/gatherer way of life and the advent of agriculture (and work). It has quite a lot to recommend it, I think.

There is considerable evidence that supports evolution. The same can not be said for Adam and Eve (with or without their navels).
