@galveston75 saidDo you see yourself as 'close' to "the basic teachings"? Do you believe you demonstrate that here?
It's sad. But the more he post and talks,the more it shows how far off from the basic teachings, such as love he's gotten away from.
@galveston75 saidI thought you were against personalized remarks like this - on principle, no? I have never ever said anything like this about you ~ or to you. Why are you talking about me in this way? My messages to you are always in-topic. You seem to want people to think you post in a principled way; all I see is hypocrisy.
What did you Rajk and FMF get drunk last night and get yourself's all worked up and now your showing the fools that you are today?
@galveston75 saidBy far the worst kind of poster around here are the ones that lack the ability to see when their arguments are illogical unbiblical foolishness. You are a good example. To make matters worse you quote from your flawed church website as if it is the Word of God, with the claim that those who do not agree with your church must be in the wrong.
Oh I see. So your apology to me in front of all here was a lie? Wow, you really sink to a new low everyday.

-Removed-Dive, if you're a crappy Christian, I've got news for you: by putting down everyone else's position in their own spirituality does nothing for your own crappy Christianity.
You've admitted flaws, then decide to be "okay" with them, not change at all for the better, and go on being a crappy Christian.
Your stance is foolish to Jesus.

@caesar-salad saidSure.
Could you substantiate that assertion?
Dive has openly admitted that he's not a good Christian. He knows why, but doesn't make an effort at correction.
Now, if Jesus teaches change, via being born again, one would be foolish to 'claim' being born again, yet living as the 'old self'.
It's not only foolish, but self deception and living in hypocrisy as well.
-Removed-Time out. You seem to have appointed yourself one of The Grand Inquisitors of this forum to root out lies and hypocrisy. Are you yourself beyond reproach and therefore worthy of such a position? And even if you are, shouldn't you be merciful as God is merciful (or is that more Islamic than Christian?)?
Otherwise I think we might agree that humility on both sides would be more in line with mainstream Christian teaching than puffery and purity competitions, not to mention forum battlesports and catfights.
@caesar-salad saidExactly my point.

He is aware that he's wrong, but just shrugs his shoulders and refuses to modify it.
