My God is the Lord Jesus Christ. And Christ is God become a man.
And He DEMONSTRATED it.
That is YOUR despair that anyone's personal relationship with God is not true.

I levy the same charge at you, diverting people from other Gods that are just as valid as your own. (Perhaps more so).
