Are we looking for a specific inequality?

will the person who discovers it know that something has been added that has been subtracted or will they just see the truth?

In this case, the flavor is half the initial attraction. What people forget is that what is interesting to one person because of their life/circumstances can be sheer nonsense/boredom to another. That's why I likened it to mental masturbation, it's merely an exercise in self-gratification. Others find little stimulating about it if it is alien to their own life/circumstances.
