Since Jewish interpretation has been mentioned, and since I haven’t worked with this stuff for some time (and my Hebrew is even rustier than it was), even though non-dualistic Judaism was my personal way for some years, after I discovered about the age of 50 that I had a long-kept-hidden Jewish heritage (and I am contemplating revisiting it)—

Judaism, bei ...[text shortened]... religion of dualistic theism.

Other than those points, I am not intending to defend anything.
Personally, I would find it difficult to even believe in a religion or in the writings in a book, if I thought there was no right way to understand it. Being able to interpret something in more than one way is very different from saying there is no right way to interpret it. If there is no right way, then I have no use for it. It is simply a waste of my time. Therefore, Judism is not for me. I will stick to Christianity where I believe there is one right way, even though I may not understand that right way.

HalleluYah !!! Praise the Lord! Holy! Holy! Holy!

So you don't believe in the first 5 books of the bible that Jews call the Torah. That IS Judaism.

It's about time you admitted it is all bullox.

I believe there is a right way and many wrong ways to interpret those Torah books. If I did not believe them, I would probably be an atheist and a stupid evolutionists, like you.

Just because a religion permits the killing of animals for food and killing in self-defense and in war does not automatically mean it must be a false religion. I would say a religion that requires one to go hungry rather than to eat meat is a false religion. A religion that prohibits killing in self-defense and requires its adherents to live in slavery and poverty rather than fight for life, liberty, and justice is a false religion.
So you can justify cruelty of animals you have mentioned many things that have nothing to do with the POST.

You have mentioned slavery and food and self defence and hunger etc.....

These things have nothing to do with the fact that the slaughter of animals in the name of religion is a grave sin.

You kill animals because the animal killers religion has said so.

And the animal killers religion is not from God........but from mundane foolish man who womanise and intoxicate and eat rotting flesh.

This absurdity of false religion is obvious.

Many animals kill and eat other animals for food, why can't we?

Many animals defecate wherever they like.
Many animals have forced sex.
Many animals kill their own kind.
Many animals sniff each others bums.

I dont think your argument is very good!

You used animals as an example to justify a
human behaviour (eating meat). Using your
own logic we can also make the same case
for rape, murder and sniffing our neighbours behinds.

Crying? Right. I am crying out loud that your religion is just as fake as all the others mankind has made up.

Don't human do all those things too? The main difference is that the Holy Bible says God has granted to man certain animals that may be eaten for food. Wheras rape and murder is condemned. I don't recall any reference to sniffing our neighbours behinds. I guess that is something that is left to civil authoritiesa.
