Many people believe that in this universe we live in, there must be "eternal truth."
However, no one has ever found it (note: except for madmen and scammers).
This is also a major issue that all philosophers and religious figures have been pursuing since ancient times.
Is there any so-called "eternal truth"?
Then it depends on what is the definition of the so-called "truth"?
If it refers to the "natural law," it must exist.
If it refers to "the meaning of the existence of the universe" and "the meaning of human existence in the universe", then the answer is not necessarily "inevitable."
However, human beings are a special species that is naturally curious. In any case, there are always many people who are desperately searching for and thinking about it.
Accordingly, there are two words, we must define clearly; otherwise, once confused, there will be serious fallacies:
One is "everlasting truth" (or "truth is everlasting"😉.
The second is "eternal truth" (or "truth is eternal"😉
"Everlasting truth" is possible and very likely.
However, "eternal truth" is wrong, at least in the universe we know so far; it does not exist.
why?
Because we know that "the universe we live in" is a "perpetual motion" state, and all things are always "changing", so there is no constant thing, and therefore there will be no "unchanged truth." Not to mention "the eternal truth."
I once said: all the objects in this universe are in a kind of "dynamic balance", look at the operation of the planet; you can see the rising sun and the moon on the earth, you can see the eight planets around the sun, in They operate in their own orbits, and the entire solar system is on the periphery of the "Galaxy" spiral orbits. It is also traveling around the center of the "Galaxy", and the "Galaxy" is also moving continuously. As for whether or not it is around the center of the universe, there is no exact Conclusion?
I used to use "cycling" as an example. Once I can skillfully ride a bicycle and go out, it is impossible to "statically balance" the two wheels. Therefore, we must keep moving forward and rely on the pedals to push the car forward. Moreover, it is necessary to rely on the adjustment posture of the front, rear, left and right of the body to grasp the center of gravity, and adjust the left and right fine adjustment of the handle (faucet), so that in the "dynamic balance" state of interaction between the person and the car, the vehicle can be advanced at the same time without falling.
Therefore, when riding a bicycle, the normal state is always in the "dynamic balance", so it is impossible to have "long-term stillness and balance". After training, it may occasionally "maintain a short-lived state". However, no one can maintain the "eternal still" state.
Similarly, in this "dynamic balance" universe, everything is "changing from time to time", so if the universe is beginning-less and endless, then the so-called "everlasting truth" should be very likely to exist. However, it must be "the truth of the permanent state of change", and it is impossible to be "the eternal truth"!
This point, in fact, the Chinese ancestors have long been clear, this is the famous "Book of Changes--Yi" in China and abroad.
What is "Yi"?
It is "simple, changing, and permanent"
how to explain?
It is the ancient Chinese sages who have simplified the universe and turned it into sixty-four very simple "symbols"; so it is called "Yi".
However, don't look at the simple symbol, but it can produce countless combinations of changes because of "minor transmutation" and "Major transmutation", so it is also called "changes". This is the true state of everything in the universe, that is, it is constantly changing.
And "the real state of changes at any moment” is "the everlasting truth of the universe" ("not static", note; "not static" does not mean "eternal change", but means "the permanently and continuously momentary change is the normal state of the universe"😉.
Therefore, in the nature of the universe, only the "normal state of eternal change" will never have the "normal state of eternal stillness", and therefore there will only be the possibility of the existence of "the everlasting change of truth", without "eternal truth"!
Therefore, anyone who intends to pursue the "everlasting truth" must first understand the characteristics of the universe. Otherwise, if they do not know that "the universe is perpetual," and they desperately want to pursue "the eternal truth".
So the most representative person is the self-declared "enlightened Buddha", who is already familiar with all the truths of the universe, the saint of India, "Sakyamuni". He believes that "silent nirvana" is the ultimate in life. Pursue the goal and practice the highest level of the stillness, that is, the so-called "cool and quiet, no annoyed, no bitterness and eternal silence; there is no immortality, no filthy, no spotless, no adding, no diminishing, no birth, no adhesion, "Permanent steady state" or "eternal stillness".
