Whether you agree or disagree with religion, what is true, is that many religous songs are beautiful. Taken just for what they intend to be, many of these songs do indeed touch the heart.
My favorite religous song that I can think of, is one by CeeCee Winans called "Alabaster Box". This song, I think, is absolutely beautiful. The music, lyrics and incredible vocals by this woman, just pierces the soul.

Maybe it helps that the lyrics are in Latin (I think?) and I can't understand them. 🙂
