If you had to decide to follow Jesus' teachings or worship Jesus which would you choose?
(Anyone else is welcome to answer)

How can one do either without the other?

Stop crapping on about Jesus and start doing what he says.

Follow teachings. Why do you ask?

Because you have brought it up so often, and I agree.

Should we bow down to jesus, or follow his teachings?

Is this not simple enough for you?

Okay, so you weren't looking for an answer from me so much as a way to launch this thread topic.

From what I can tell, the path of "worship" usually boils down to currying favor with a "higher power". As such, it is ultimately self-serving and therefore disingenuous.

What do you think?

I liked what you been sayin. Sounds like your the type of "christian" that I like.

"self-serving" ...?
My definition of "self" is probably different from most other posters on here.
Continual repition of Jesus' name and a narrow interpretation of his teachings is what I'm getting at.

Basically,(in my way of thinking), if you went around doing what Jesus told you to do you wouldn't have much time left for speaking his name. Which is what a lot of Christians seem to do.
