@divegeester saidI'm hesitant to criticize other Christian groups, but JW's history has been a bit sketchy. That said, the title to this OP is a bit silly. You don't need a digital book to leave - just get up and walk away.
Give it a try Galveston75

@mchill saidThat sounds a little simplistic. For many, leaving the JWs is not like getting up and leaving the cinema if you're not enjoying the film. The cult often targets vulnerable people who are effectively brainwashed, controlled and have their independent thought taken away. - And as whole families tend to get sucked in, leaving would also mean being ostracised from loved ones and friends.

@mchill saidThe book is called “How to escape the JW’s”

The book is available digitally
The book is free.
So how is it you think the title is a bit silly?
@mchill saidYeah right. Takes lots of balls to do that like GoDuke said. You are walking away by yourself and all your loved ones are telling you that you going to hell and you are a son of Satan.

Because JW is not North Korea. Yes - they can be insulted and shunned by other members when they try to leave, but, if someone really wants to leave JW, they're not going to be shot, tortured, or sent off to a labor camp - - and they don't need an instruction manual.
@mchill saidYou seem to be quite naive to the ways of the JW religious psychology.

Galveston75 has said yesterday that if a member leaves ”they will have to answer to Jehovah”.
You really should educate yourself on the Jehovah’s Witness movement, the doctrines, dogmas, teachings and behaviours before stumbling into this topic which you seem to know little about.
Alternatively you could write to the author of the book cited in my OP and ask them why they wrote it.

Let them answer. If someone leaves JW and joins a Presbyterian or Lutheran church they should have no worries in that regard. So, what's the problem?
