I see people out on the streets holding cardboard signs, but have fancier shoes and phones than me. I did see a sign in the city that was pretty good though "Need money for alcohol research." Another thing about being homeless is that often these people have homes to go to but they would rather sleep in the streets than go back to "broken homes".
Also, sometimes these homes aren't even that "broken".
Buy that I mean, alot of street folk have mental illnesses like schizophrenia, and even some mild violence or emotional tension can make these sensitive individuals feel more comfortable on the streets than back at home.
I know this happens a lot .
I have learned about this stuff from direct experience with homeless people, living with them from time to time.
