god theories

1] possible but doubtful that there were once some gods but they all died in storied wars; 2] if there are gods, they may be found in deep forests among nature's largest trees; 3] most gods are crafted by skilled workers from polished metals or hewn stone; 4] god's a girl and is much too private to choose to be revealed; 5] christians invented their own version of god out of ancient myths and fables; 6] individuals becomes their own god, if and when they convert the special spark within their beings into living flames; 7] guardian angels are gods; 8] true gods live in laboratories; 9] literature, philosophy and mathematics are the true homes of gods; 10] certain sacred animals are important gods; 11] family trees contain relevant, ancestral gods; 12] gods hide in astrological stars; 13] garp is god; 14 there is no god, never was one. who's crazy? any answers?

15 God is an excuse for childish squabbles on the internet. If god did not exist we would have to invent him to fill this purpose.

The question is not whether pelican guano (which, after all, has a neutral effect on humanity) is god, but whether something like a bacteria like Clostridium difficile (which has a decidedly harmful effect on humanity) is also god.
