Catholic church cannot bless same-sex unions, Vatican decrees. Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith rules that God ‘cannot bless sin’ [UK newspaper]

Courts shouldn't be used to try to force churches to condone or cooperate with activities that conflict with their faith-based values.

God has already blessed all sin by allowing it to occur within Its vasty Cosmos, and petty word-twisters do not get to override that.

But I do get why you juxtaposed those two topics. It is difficult and draining to live among the crazy people.

But what if faith based values conflict with the law? For instance, performing marriages of minors to adult members of a congregation? I realise that this is actually the inverse of the question posed in the OP.

Also, in the case brought up by vivify, regarding Chick—Fil-A, although CFA is not a religious organisation, it is guided by beliefs that have been challenged in th ...[text shortened]... ught to allow courts some breadth of influence. It’s an argument that that’s been engaged for years.
The rule of law should always take precedence over faith-based values.

We have the book of Acts and the letters written by Paul, about 13 epistles.

Who was he controlling ?
And what do you mean by "control" there?

Hmmmm. Do you mean 'sin' as defined by God, or 'sin' as defined by man?

Or 'sin' as defined by those men who think they know the mind of God, i.e. pharisaical 'sin'?

"Sin" according to the Bible.

Homosexual acts are "sins", right? According to Christian belefs, which are based on the Bible, yes?

Just answer the question as put to you.

"According to the Bible" (or even "according to Christian beliefs" ) doesn't nearly answer the question. It's another dodge.

It's not a dodge. Not at all. I am specifically talking about the Bible and Christian beliefs about homosexual sex. You self-identify as a Christian; so I am asking you: homosexual acts are "sins", right? Or no, not right?

So you're, in fact, not going to answer my question.

Maybe you need to look up dodge in the dictionary.

More vanity.

I don't think homosexual acts are immoral.

I am asking you, as a Christian, based on your Christian beliefs, do you believe homosexual acts are "sins"?

It is not me who is dodging.

I am simply asking YOU about YOUR Christian beliefs.
