We can be clear in that we don't see the terms wife and/or bride in the same way, in light of your insistence. We can also be clear that neither of us is likely to influence the others view on this matter.
What is it that you are looking for?
But based on your posts, and others, you will NOT even entertain the thought.
Your sole purpose is to quibble about wife or bride, and interpretations of the word. You will go to great lengths to avoid the possibilty of Jesus being married to a female, and yes, having marital sex with her.
The word is wife. It means woman!!!
The word is NOT bride, and does not mean church.

It matters to me in so far as the scripture does not support the notion.

I don't think that is a fair and accurate assessment. In looking back through this thread, I have made 4 posts (235 words, if you count the hyperlink), this would hardly qualify as 'great lengths'.

How do you know?
The word is NOT bride, and does not mean church.
Again, how do you know?

The resistance here is the same of the priests interviewed in the PBS documentary.
They will fight this notion of Jesus having sex with his wife, because it then suggests their vow of chastity is meaningless.
The church will fight for their belief, regardless of fact.
The church will fight for their belief, regardless of fact
Are you now saying that Jesus had a wife? Am I understanding you correctly?

'Gospel of Jesus' wife'.
Stop arguing with me, as if I wrote the damn story, and see for yourself.

Nobody cares. Got it?
Keep your head buried in the sand, while you preach following the commands of Christ.
A Christ that you do not know, and are very afraid of.
He may have been married, deal with it Rak!!

Hey .. go guzzle down and bottle of vodka and worry about whether or not Jesus had a wife.

Did Jesus inspire you?
You seem very good at following His commands.
You are merely a petty man who will not look at possible truth.
You know nothing Rak.
Originally posted by chaney3chaney3, why does it seem reasonable to you that Jesus was married? Is it because of some fragment that somebody found that was attributed to Jesus and it just happened to mention wife?
What I have said is that it seems reasonable that Jesus was married to a woman and had marital sex. He was a human man.
This new artifact supports that notion.
The gospel of Jesus wife, amounts to 50 words. Are you kidding me? What foolishness! You are better off to pursue Jesus I think rather than things that would seek to counter the canonized gospels.
