The simple answer is that Sonship promotes DEAD FAITH. He leads people [and himself] away from Jesus Christ to their damnation. Jesus dealt with this matter of Greater v Lesser Things in Matt 7:21-27. Jesus referred to those who practised the lesser things as foolish people. These Lesser Things:
- Calling Lord Lord
- Prophesying
- Casting out devils
- working miracles
If this is all you come to Jesus with, you will hear the response I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Greater Things lead to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Jesus referred to those who practiced these things as wise people, who are the ones that hear His teachings and DO THEM.

Beware of false teachers.
