@suzianne saidReligious beliefs about supernatural things are, in their entirety, things "we cannot know". That is the very nature of faith. I don't see what's stopping people from talking about their beliefs and faith... unless they - like you have here, mchill-like - more or less say what's the point of talking about it?
How is anyone alive today supposed to answer this question with anything approaching personal knowledge?
Short answer: We can't know.
Long answer: We can't know.
-Removed-Paul said :
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knowethπ such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knowethπ How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (2 Corinthians 12:2-4 KJV)
In addition Jewish literature explains it also that there are several. One is the place where the birds fly, another is paradise, and yet another is the abode of God where no man enters. There may be more.
@fmf saidSo I suppose, to you, anyways, Santa Claus is also a reasonable topic for this forum?

-Removed-I have heard this joke (which contains some truth):
In heaven people of all kind meet and there is much joy and merrymaking.
then someone asks the allmighty: "Why is there that small wall at the corner of the heavenly Jerusalem?"
And God answeres: "It is for the (insert sect of your choice, e.g. baptists, catholics,...), they want to think they are the only ones here..."
@suzianne saidI see discussion of the adult Christian concept and beliefs with regard to heaven as being far a more important, interesting and significant than anything whatsover to do with childhood belief in Santa Claus.

@medullah saidNo, it's not the case. π
Is it not the case that Muslims believe in seven planes of heaven and nine planes of hell . If so why has Hell got more planes than heaven? Anyone know ?
(7 heavens and 7 planes of hell I believe).
The same amount of planes, but heaven has more helicopters.
@fmf saidBecause no one cares if you make fun of Santa Claus.

There's no there there.
