Some roll with the punches; they are insulted, they are thick-skinned, so they can shine on those who did the insulting. They are heartily souls who can think clearly, not jump into rage, and stay the course. There are those offended by the tiniest things imaginable; they are constantly a victim class. All it takes is exposure to a different point of view than the one they hold, and they feel attacked. They could also go another way as bad; if you do not affirm their life choices as vigorously as they think you should, they are offended, they believe you hate them, and they feel they are being attacked. The ladder is on a fast track to self-destruction as they encounter the rest of the world that doesn’t cater to them the way they think they need to be.

So, when we see people lose it and start down a path of destruction against others, and many times against themselves, what common characteristics do we see?
