I saw the movie, if that's what you're referring to. Thought it was very good.

The search of one's true self starts by asking oneself ' who is that which is asking this question ? '. The assertion that I am that One, is much later, on Realisation.

Gee. I'm not sure what you mean.

I certainly wasn't asserting that I am that one, whoever that one is.

Hindu theology says that God is everywhere / permeates everything including yourself. Your individual soul is a spark from a bigger fire which for convenience's sake we can call the Universal Soul or in simpler terms God.The aim of the spiritual quest is to realize/experience directly the truth that oneself and God are one and the same. The"I" and"That One" is the same.
Once the " I" realizes that he/she is "That One",the "I" merges with "God".

I am not Hindu, nor do I buy into that belief system. I do not worship the creature, which is what a Hindu does.

God is the I Am, and we are His creation. We are not God in any way, shape or form.

I was simply explaining what I meant by saying that I am that One. Hindus do not proseletyse. They hold that all religions lead to God. They hold all things and all 'creatures' are representations of God. Each to his own belief. By the way I was talking about individual souls and God. Souls do not have shapes or forms.
