Of course I do. Fantastic! (Wouldn't leprechauns and faeries be
something too!) But the best bit would be god casting bodies into
the eternal lake of fire. A place reserved only for those that believe
in it and threatened others with it. Payback for spiritual bullies.

Atheists he can snuff out (fair do's) but pontificating stuffed
shirts should suffer by being put into a debating chamber
and have to listen to each other for eternity.

Amen.

PS - Atheists: Before he snuffs you out for ever and ever ... he allows you ONE question!

This is a matter that you must face alone.
There will be no cheerleaders urging you on.
There will be no canned laughter recorded as in a comedy show.

If I was able to be saved for you I would not argue. I would just get you saved. But this is matter that you must face alone. And some who you consider buddies in athiesm now may decide it is not worth it latter and believe in the Lord Jesus.

I hope you become like me - believing and saved. I hope you do not look around in hell for your buddies and find that some of them didn't stick with you into eternity.

Now if I were you, which I am not, I would find an open field somewhere. And there where one could pour out his heart in private, I would cry out. "God I cannot believe. Help my unbelief."

Faith is one side of the matter. The other side is God's FAITHFULNESS.

It's as if you don't have any idea or understanding whatsoever what it actually means for someone to simply not believe the things you believe. It's as if your religiosity has stripped you completely of your ability to understand your fellow man, unless he or she happens to have the same religious beliefs as you. It's quite a price you are paying, this loss of empathy and common decency and common sense.

Perhaps ... but on reflection; probably not.

On reflection certainly.

Maybe in your case "You have not because you ask not."

I never said we had no idea. I never said we had "no understanding whatsoever." I said as before there are some unknowns.

I have displayed empathy with you and with others.
I even share with you that the worst thing anyone could imagine is endless punishment forever.

I believe the horrific exists or Christ would not warn us about it.
I believe the horrific exists or Jesus would not have been so burdened to obey the will of His Father to the uttermost of absoluteness.

I am not waiting for your approval, by the way.
One thing the fear of God does for you is remove the fear of man from you.

Wolfgang, if I were an atheist, the one question would be: "God, if you're actually a supernatural being, how can human beings possibly have a relationship with you in time and eternity?" Footnote: God is a gentleman who doesn't force Himself on anyone. He respects the decisions of those who reject His grace gift [of salvation and personal relationship] who will by choice be separated from Him and alone with the "worm that never dies [memory]" as their sole companion for eternity.

No. You have the wrong end of the stick. I am saying that you often come across as if you just cannot grasp what it means for someone to simply not believe the things you happen to believe. Your religiosity sometimes seems to have deprived you of your ability to understand your fellow man when your fellow man does not share your faith.

Have you dropped the wholesale dumping of non-believers into "Lake of Fire" stuff then?

Nonsense. I know not everyone believes what I believe.
I just, to some, give my reasons why I believe what I believe.

And I explain to some unbelieving, how it was I came to believe.
When I do, you react by insisting "You cannot understand that I don't believe that !"

I get it. I get it.

Is this your reasoning?

1.) All punishment is evil.

2.) God punishes.

3.) Therefore God is evil.

Or maybe this:

1.) Punishment without end is never right.

2.) God punishes without end.

3.) Therefore God does something that is never right.

If either one of these are your arguments, I have to take issue with the first step #1 in both cases.

Here's another possible argument I suppose.

1.) Man is in no position morally to punish forever.

2.) God punishes forever.

3.) God does something that man is wrong to do.

4.) Therefore God is wrong also.

In this case I would not go along with #4 though I would agree with #1.

Now, the leprechauns and fairies ?
This, I think, is an attempt to drown out of one's concept the possibility of Supreme Being by flooding the catagory uniquely held by God with all manner of zany things from the world's cultures. This is a massive "It cannot be true because of a guilt by association barrage. If I believe in God why then I must also believe in the Jolly Green Giant."

"If I believe that there is an ultimate Divine Life which is eternal, uncreated and in category unique to Himself alone, then of course I have to accept Tinker Bell and Tom Thumb as realities as well. Ah, That feels better."

Clearly you do not get it.
Nobody with a lack of belief would do any such thing.
