English chess Grandmaster Nigel Davies has been on my friends list on Facebook for several months and we had a rather heated exchange a few minutes ago. Seems he is reluctant to condemn Trump for accepting an endorsement from an organization which is anti-Semitic (KKK). But he was quite vociferous in condemning the whole of the Democratic presidential candidates as anti-Sem ...[text shortened]... Theist. Lots of other slurs, but not that.
I guess he did not analyze the position very well, LOL.

I may have struck a raw nerve when I said "Nigel, you are a very intelligent man, but when it comes to Trump, you are not" . He immediately accused me of calling him stupid (quite vociferously ) .

Some might say that, if people know how Nigel Davis treated caissad4 on Facebook, they may consider not buying a chess book or video by him, as was your main point with your first post on this thread.

This is his main role in this forum, and I have regularly pointed out that he cares far more about razzing individual posters for their views than actually discussing whatever the topic is.

If you were to spend more time in the Spirituality forum, you would become very quickly acquainted with this practice.

I suspect he never goes into the debate forum because there is enough activity there that he would be eaten alive -- but here, where it is quiet and he has two allies backing him up, he can fling dung up & down the posts indiscriminately.
