In the light of sonship's recent failed attempt to justify Witness Lee's statement condemning the entire religion of Christianity plus the Jews by calling them organisations of Satan, I am reminded of this passage from Genesis.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:2-3 KJV)

What do Christians generally believe this passage means, and are there consequences for this kind of condemnation of all Christians and the Jews?

My personal view is that all Christian churches are NOT organisations of Satan. There are however sinful and evil people in every organisation. As Jesus said, the wheat and the tares must grow and exist together and at the time of harvest the angels will remove the wheat and burn the tares. Calling every Christian religion and the Jews, organisations of Satan is a grave sin and will invoke Gods curse and condemnation. It is a fool that gets involved with such cult religions.

However, whoever blesses the Jewish people receives a blessing. No leader in history died in such a pitiful way as Hitler did. Hitler died in that way because he was cursed for his cursing of the Jewish people. Since the United States is helping the nation of Israel today, surely the United States is under God’s blessing. This is not my opinion. This is according to God’s promise in Genesis 12:3.

You and Witness Lee think God is stupid. You condemn Judaism which is Gods Laws given to Moses, calling it an organisation of Satan.

Can someone take up where Rajk999 left off and how my quotation of Witness Lee's expounding on Genesis 12:3 ? ...[text shortened]... hment. Yet He is still their God and will be faithful to His covenant and promises to their fathers.

Jesus speaks to the Jews under the Judaism of His day before His crucifixion:

" ... the scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in Moses seat; Therefore all that they tell you, do and keep, but do not do according tot heir works, for they say things and do not do them. (Matt. 23:2,3)

And they bind burdens, heavy and hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger. (v.4)

Although I love Israel, I feel very sad for them because, according to prophecy and their present situation, they have returned to the land of their fathers in unbelief. They still cling to their old religion, and they do not believe in God according to His new testament economy. They are actually in rebellion against Him. When the Lord Jesus came, God changed the dispensation from that of keeping the law to that of believing in the Lord Jesus. But the Jews would not accept this change and they refused to turn from keeping the law to believing in the Lord Jesus. This was their rebellion, stubbornness, and disobedience. God has borne with them for centuries, and according to His sovereignty, they have returned and have been restored as a nation again, but they are still in unbelief. They do not believe in the Lord Jesus. According to some reliable information I have received, the government of Israel is doing everything possible to exclude any type of Christian activity. They do not want any Christian missionaries to carry on mission work. The prophecies regarding Israel indicate that they will remain in unbelief until the last day. God, however, is sovereign and He will always take care of the nation of Israel, not for their sake but for His economy. He knows that among the unbelieving Jews there are some faithful ones, and before He will actually judge the earth with supernatural calamities, He will seal them.

C. Twelve Thousand of Each
of the Twelve Tribes Sealed

In 7:4-8 we see that God will seal one hundred forty-four thousand “out of every tribe of the sons of Israel,” sealing twelve thousand out of each of the twelve tribes. These are the Israelites who will keep the commandments of God during the great tribulation (12:17; 14:12). Altogether, one hundred forty-four thousand faithful Israelites will be sealed on their foreheads. I do not know what kind of seal this will be, but it will be a mark recognizable to the angels sent to judge the earth. This is God’s way of preserving His chosen Israelites while He is executing His judgment upon the earth.

God will preserve His two peoples—the Israelites and the redeemed saints. Why does this insertion regarding God’s preservation of His people come here? Because in the sixth seal we see the warning of the coming tribulation. As we have seen, the fifth seal is the cry of the martyred saints for revenge, and the sixth seal is God’s answer to this cry, which is also a warning to the dwellers on the earth that the tribulation will soon come.
