It arrives either tomorrow or on Saturday, depending on which national Islamic organization you belong to [their scholars usually disagree on the exact timing].

I quite admire the tradition of Ramadan. Fasting for 28 days during daylight hours creates a great sense of communal solidarity and shared "struggle". And the family getting up in the early hours of the morning to eat before sunrise ~ sahur ~ has a wee bit of tingling Christmas morning excitement and family togetherness about it every day.

Whoops, it's 29 or 30 days, depending on the organization.
