Actually, I thought I addressed it pretty much, although your wording is a little convoluted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your point with this thread is to draw a distinction between truth and opinions? And what you are claiming is that truth and reality trumps opinions, am I right?

So all I tried to point out is that the concept of "truth" is subjective.

Have I addressed your question now? I am really trying my best to understand where you are going here.
You think truth is "subjective"?
Then it is no wonder you didn't understand what I was saying, and still don't.

Your truth is that god exists, my truth is that it does not.
That seems pretty subjective to me.

That is stating the beliefs, the truth is reality which doesn't change due to you or me.

You are very narrow-minded! As this is the Spirituality Forum
and as Caljust is demonstrably intelligent I think it safe to assume
that he is taking the meaning of "Truth" in this discussion as
a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality

If you want to talk about reality try the Science Forum.

If you are happy with your beliefs, and they are working for you good.

Is this the measure, the only meaningful way to look at life?

If the Theistic world view is all wrong then the truth is they (we)(I) have always been all wrong, instead of the truth of reality it’s an illusion.

If the Atheistic world view is all wrong, then they have had the illusion, not truth of reality.

Color my world with truth not acceptable opinions.
Color my world with truth not acceptable opinions.

What evidence do you have that you objectively "color [your] world with truth"?

I'm not the one saying that truth is personally molded here to suit my views or yours, I'm saying that type of thing is limited to opinions. Reality is not dependent upon me, and would be what it is with or without me. There is only reality, you can say material reality, or spiritual reality, but neither of those words take away or add to the truth of reality, they are just words we use to color our opinions about reality.

Truth is simply when we line up our views with reality, it is us conforming to it, not the other way around.

If you have evidence that you objectively "color [your] world with truth", then simply present it.

If you don't, then simply admit it.

In other words, you are very, very certain that your personal opinions about "truth" and "reality", in terms of supernatural matters, coincide with what is true and real.

Did you read the opening lines of this OP?

us conforming to it, not the other way around

The substance and nature of the "it" in the above phrase is a matter of speculation, perception, and opinion.

The point you are missing is in this conversation it isn't 'a' truth I'm trying to get anyone to see of mine. It is only that the truth is out there, not in us, we are not the masters of reality.
