So let me get this straight. (And I'm a Catholic (or as bf101, Darfius, and RBH would have you believe, a devil worshipper)). You mean to tell me that all someone has to do is say "I'm a Christian" and they're saved? (Of course ...[text shortened]... you're all set?
Hey, why not? It worked for Jim & Tammy Faye.
EDIT: OK, I get it - nuff said.

LOL. Actually I'm finally getting some work done. Every 15 minutes or so I switch back for a little break 😉
I threw a mug of coffee over myself today by accident...and people saw...I tripped up going up some stairs with a mug full to the brim of hot coffee ..and there were people behind me..cringe. My hair and t-shirt were drenched in coffee..I'm still burning up with embarrasment.
I feel better for telling someone..thanks.

You mean to tell me that all someone has to do is say "I'm a Christian" and they're saved? (Of course, they have to mean it.) But you can be a total POS and say, "I'm a Christian" and you're all set?

Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright, oh yeah
Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright
I don’t care what they may say
I don’t care what they may do
I don’t care what they may say
Jesus is just alright, oh yeah
Jesus is just alright
Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright, oh yeah
Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright
I don’t care what they may know
I don’t care where they may go
I don’t care what they may know
Jesus is just alright, oh yeah
Jesus, he’s my friend; jesus, he’s my friend
He took me by the hand; led me far from this land
Jesus, he’s my friend
Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright, oh yeah
Jesus is just alright with me, jesus is just alright
I don’t care what they may say, I don’t care what they may do
I don’t care what they may say, jesus is just alright, oh yeah

Suppose that one of your work colleagues had the same experience as you and you comforted, reassured them, perhaps went home to get them some clean clothes. Would this not be a charitable attitude on your part?
god telling me not to wear flipflops for work...i don't know Kirksey...how would you interpret this embarrasing incident?
Originally posted by kirksey957i wouldn't say so...my job involves doing many things for other people..i wouldn't say it was charitable but more the right thing to do..so what are you driving at kirk?

I'm down with the one that is known as the Son
Of the G to the O to the D never done
With the flow, in the know, on the go like a pro
Not for show cause I ain't in the biz for the dough
Or the me, or the ray, all the dough's gotta stay,
Cause I can't, no I can't, take it home anyway
Never trite when I write cause the Lord is my light
And His Word is my bond so ya know, He's alright
Edit: I can still rattle this off in less than 6 secs.
