anyway i once watched a historically accurate documentary called "footloose" and it was the christians who banned singing and dancing!! but luckily for the youths of beaumont a plucky young boy called kevin bacon came and power-danced some common sense back into towns right-wing, dance-hating, religious nut-jobs.
