Sonhouse, I don't worry about anything. You know me better than that! That being said, this doesn't mean I leave my faculties at the door. God Himself has appealed to man's reason to consider his own plight, so you'll find nothing in the way of a biblical dictum to relieve one's self of use of one's critical thinking.

God is not foolish, but uses it. God is not weak, but uses it.
It made, if your story is right, dumb animals for about a billion years. What drove this god to mix up the bunch with useless intelligence a billion years later?
The Earth was getting along just fine, the ecology was humming away, ice age, hot age, Pangea, split up continents, everything was ticking along fine, no intelligence needed but WHAM, 30,000 years ago, intelligence was required. Why would that be?

Holy Bible, the book of truth.

What an arrogant stance, to think humans are so what, valuable, being in the dark, that an omniscient god would do all that just to hide the fact the earth is 6000 years old.
Yeah, sure, the human race is so necessary to its plan it needs to completely fool us into seeing white when it is all black.
Here's the deal: I don't think you really think anything of the sort. I think you just want to do a bit of playacting at our expense.
You probably are really an 19 yo freshman at a local community college having a bit of fun making us think you are really 2/3's of a century old and totally blind to the real world.
You had me going there for a while.

100,000 or 50,000 or whatever years old. Have you ever looked at those
bones in the museum. They don't look very old at all. I bet you could
not tell the difference between a 100 year old bone and one that was
supposed to be 1,000, 5,000, or 100,000 years old.
Originally posted by RJHindsno you couldn't... unless you had a degree in the appropriate field of study. do you have such a degree?

To my knowledge, there is no such degree. It is pseudo-science.
Maybe they ordered it by mail. I heard you can get about any
diploma you want that way for a price.
