when jesus was born, is it possible the three wise men weren't three at all, and just one wise man, and that wise man was santa?

What if Santa was a triune being, just like the Christian god? But instead of the simultaneous, eternal indwelling of the father, the son, and the holy ghost, it is Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar that comprise the co-eteranal and indivisible essence of Santa.

There is no recording in the Bible that there were three wise men. There were three gifts, and so tradition has declared three wise men (one per gift) and named them. But the Bible doesn't number the wise men.
