I always assumed Jesus was constipated, hence the sweat of blood and the weeping.

god is in the eye of the beholder.
hendrix is one of many for me. in his short life he made his mark and expressed his free spirit to the listening world, at least that portion of the world with an open mind.
he created wonderful music which is a joy to listen to.

Glad to get so much feedback on this DEEP metaphysical question.... thankyou gentlemen and ladies, your philisophical thoughts have been much appreciated !
It seems the general consensus that hendrix was god, or at the least a demi-god, thanks again...

Wonder what Jimmy would be saying now, were he to hear such 'idle' worship.

After humbly requesting that his name be spelt properly, he'd launch into some technically impressive but basically boring guitar-playing.

Is that why Eric Clapton was once known as God?

Actually the spelling is correct, his name was James so technically speaking 'Jimmy' is a correct spelling. Jimi was a spelling that was encouraged by Chas Chandler as it was more aesthetic when seen in headlines then plain old Jimmy.....

Dionysus fingers, good analogy, you must be a Nietzsche fan as well as a Hendrix fan, good call 🙂
