Of course. Who is disputing that? In the end what matters is what Jesus Christ said about who gets eternal life and who gets cast out. There are some who think they are worthy but Christ will cast them out and viceversa. People focus on all kinds of things. There are many types of Christians - bible scholars, there are those who pray all day, those who call Lord Lord 20 times ...[text shortened]... it is the righteous and those who keep the commandments who get eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
All things spoken by Paul and Peter or anyone else is God speaking through them that is in the spoken word of God then put to ink to write the Bible.

Oh yes. I can bet the Rich Man in the story of Lazarus read the whole bible, so did the Priest and Levite in the story of the Good Samaritan. How about the Pharisees who crucified Christ ... bet they were versed in the Septuagint and Torah. These guys too : Im sure they knew Gods Word ..Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? (Matthew 25:44 KJV) They read everything, but did nothing.

We are saved by what Jesus has done for us not by what we do. He lived a perfect life on our behalf (obeyed the law perfectly for us) He died a substitutionary death – in our place, he was buried, he rose again on the third day from the grave for our justification, then he ascended into heaven where he is now seated at the right hand of the father and forever lives to make intercession for us.

Do you believe you are "saved" even if you do nothing? In other words, do you believe that "what Jesus has done for us" means there is no obligation for you to obey his commandments or to do good works?

You are driven by his Spirit to do so all other ways are in vain.

So, in other words, obeying Jesus' commandments and doing good works are necessary in order to be "saved"?

Did you hear Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) testify about the grace of God through Jesus on the floor of Congress?
Do you perceive her [Marjorie Taylor Greene] to be "driven by His [Jesus'] Spirit"?

Do you claim that you yourself are?

If they were they would leave their current church.

Maybe you should, as a professed born-again Christian, tell the whole truth about this matter as described by Paul. The words of Jesus is clearer and more to the point but Christians rather quote Paul because Pauls words are easier to manipulate and misinterpret.

But lets take Pauls letter to the Ephesians which you quoted. Here is a summary:
- Christians profess their faith in Christ and are baptised
- Christians then are saved [forgiven for past sins by the blood of Christ] from their former life of sin in the flesh
- God bestows on Christians a new life with the gift of the Holy Spirit, which dwells in them and which is their guide to live righteously and do good works.
- Paul warns there is no guarantee of this life of righteousness, neither is it a foregone conclusion that born-again Christians will inherit the Kingdom of God. Work must be done
- Saved, born-again Christians Saints in Christ, who continue with a life of sin and evil, despite the guidance of the Holy Spirit, are enemies of the cross of Christ and will not receive forgiveness for sins. They will be destroyed.

These are the teachings of Paul. In Revelation, the warnings of Christ to the seven churches run along the same lines ie Live righteously and do good works otherwise your names will be removed from the book of life.

Stop lying to yourself and others. You are preaching a dead faith.
