Is Man Serving God?
Author :Chang Kai-Chi
In many monotheistic missionaries or believers, people often hear their life goals are "You must know how to fear God, believe in God, rely on God, and serve God!"
Seems their main point is because "God is omnipotent!"
Comparing with the God’s omnipotence", why do "almighty gods" need incompetent people to serve? If it is not God's will, why human willingness to serve the God; it is like a small ant trying to effortlessly massage a human body. For human, will an ant fulfill that function?
Seems the "serving God" could be classified as subconsciously eager to receive "self and caring from God's ministry"! And it becomes a contradiction: "Everything depends on God, let God lead us..." .
Is it right to let God serve the people?
“Please God” so he could “lead”, but the "leading" itself is not a service?
In addition, like “blessings between friends and relatives and the words of condolences for sadness”, "May the Lord forgive your sins and let you recover soon!", "May God give you good luck...", "Don't be sad, those bad guys and those who hurt you will give God to sanction and sin..."
As for being more selfish, people pray for God to "save", "bless", "give wealth", "give peace and happiness", "give love and success", "enlisted on the honor roll", "wining in the war” , “destroy the enemy”, "power the king with throne", even including the praying such as "God help find lost things”, etc. All these are not "God is serving people"?
As for "people serve God"? I do not see it.
Sunday church praying (sometimes dozing and socializing), personal or group worshiping daily or weekly, or church room cleaning services, donation, singing and praising the poetry of the Lord.. all these could be classified as "serving God"? ? ?
In fact, there is no God who needs people to serve! Nor God will serve human. Everyone is their own mentor. They are not servants of God. In the meantime, don’t be day-dreaming that God will satisfy people selfishness desire.
