It should be quite commonplace that God speaks to us. This would not mean everyone can add their own personal chapters to the Scriptures though.

But that we have God's speaking should be normal and comfortable. In fact it should be so comfortable that it is often imperceptible and blending in with out our thoughts.

Your concept about God speaking may be that lightening flashes and a loud speaker from the sky shouts out something.

You don't think God's speaking in the still small voice of your conscience has not occured to you ?
