Christ: an enlightened human being, the greatest of instructors for human
growth, a human walking with the greatest of directions, the greatest of
spiritual faith, and the most divine desires of any other human, ever.

Note the usage of the word human. Jesus will save me, but he'll save me
as my brother. He'll save me as a leader. I expect nothing from him,
but what he hath already spoke, to teach me.

you will note i have omitted 'the Alpha and the omega, the first and last', for this is a clear reference not to Christ but to God, however, it has been discussed at some length in the endless trinity discussions, which i seek to avoid, trying instead to find common ground before the missiles are thrown! if anyone feels differently then please let Galveston know, he deals with criticism much better than me!

See R.C this is why it can't happen because the scripture I referenced was Christ speaking to His Churches LOL 🙂 So while admirable we just can't help but to get dragged right back into this argument. We are talking about Christ and his nature and of course his titles which go right back to His nature LOL man!! You edited it because it suited your theology.

One like a Son of Man
9I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea."

12I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man,"dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Who did John see in his vision? The Risen Lord Jesus! Who is talking and says I am the first & the last? V17 I don't think it's fair for you to edit that because Jesus calls Himself that. If you want put ( ) around them explaining your theology but not fair to omit.

This by the way is still one of the best things we've attempted to do so I don't want to give up.
