Originally posted by SeitseIn all honesty, I think Jesus gains some mileage and becomes noteworthy, legendary, starts a religion, primarily because he seems to have been an accomplished healer. One does not have to buy into Lazarus' resurrection and the casting of demons on the part of other people to see that the Bible would indicate Jesus had a rare compassion for the plight of the sick and injured, and was not afraid to do something about it. He would not have had to be supernatural to be extraordinary.
