Yet you presumably do believe that sinners will be punished - but cannot give a reasonable explanation for why they must be punished. Don't call it karma if you don't want to, but its really the same thing.

God's word and His sense of justice requires that sinners be punished. Simple as that. 😏

Exactly my point. You believe that justice requires punishment, but you cannot explain why. You believe it is a brute fact.

It means something that just is, it has no explanation or cause. Presumably you believe God chose to create the universe, so his action had a cause and is thus not a brute fact.
