    Not sure if you've seen the latest headlines from the art world, so I'll bring them to your attention. It seems Klimt's work is still selling for staggering prices these days. His portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer II was auctioned for $88 million yesterday. In addition to the Bloch-Bauer portrait, three other paintings sold for princely sums. Birch Forest went for $40.3m, Houses at Unterach on the Attersee fetched nearly $31.4m and Apple Tree I sold for $33m. That's a total of $192.7 million for four Klimt paintings. And in June, his portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I sold for a whopping $135m. Doesn't sound like his work will be fading any time soon.
