The technology aspect of this story aside, is there a lesson here for this community's members?

The suffering of all these poor lost species aside, if these mass extinctions are purportedly part of some sort of intelligent design, what was their purpose exactly?

A judge has ruled that New York City's buses must display a controversial ad that refers to Muslims killing Jews. New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) had opposed the advertisement, arguing it could incite terrorism and violence. But Judge John Koeltl rejected the argument and said the ad was protected under the US constitution, which enshrines the principle of free speech.

What are your thoughts about anger [regarding suffering, past and present] being aired in this way?
