I think there is a problem there since an incarnation could only be in one place at a time, so to personally meet Him they'd have to travel back. Regarding the "End of Days", I don't see any reason within the basic religion to assume there will be a second coming, what was wrong with the first one? The scientific picture is that over the next billion years the Sun will become hotter to the point that life will no longer be sustainable on earth. Short of moving the Earth's orbit I don't see how that can be avoided. Although the seas will boil, which does fit with the apocalyptic imagery.

If mankind gets even to other planets in our solar system, say Mars and Europa where you would basically be living in caves and it turns out that the bible god is true, what happens to those people not even on Earth during that time? Would they too get plagues and such?
Why would God permit people to settle other planets when the question of His rightful Sovereignty has not yet been answered conclusively?
That was the real issue that Satan raised in the Garden of Eden.
After that has been answered who knows what wonderful things will be possible.

A hundred years from now, brand new stresses on humanity will be present and if we don't solve them, we can be thrust back into the stone age, but that will not be accompanies by some magic god who will fix all our boo boo's. That desperation by BILLIONS of people is just not going to happen and the sooner humanity realizes that, ONLY THEN will we be able to attain true racial maturity. As it is now, all we have are CHILDREN with weapons killing by the thousands but in general people of the world are less slave ridden, less disease ridden, less hunger ridden than has ever happened in the last thousand years.
The end days may come but it's more likely to be from climate change where there will be no deity coming down to fix our boo boo's and it will be up to us to make the climate reverse the deadly course it is on now or otherwise the EARTH will start killing people, a LOT more than even the wars of the past 2000 years have.
