I can't see how anyone could derive that interpretation from that passage.

I think in the book of Haggai or Nehemiah there was some harsh treatment to Jews who married outside of the Israelite nation after the return to the good land from Babylon.

At any rate RBHILL, as far as I can see, never did provide the scripture for his statement. So I assume he has none.

I still wish him the best and happiest marriage in the Lord.

Has anyone ever considered the possibility that divorce is like the kingdom of heaven in that you will have all your worldly possessions removed?

He might also have been referring to the prohibition of marrying people of a different religion in Deuteronomy 7:3.

Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons

So what must people of mixed race do? Must they find someone with an identical mix?

It is my experience that differences in religion, beliefs, education, upbringing, and gender are more likely to cause conflicts than differences in race. Race can sometimes be an indicator that such differences exist but it is a highly unreliable indicator and unfair to the extent of making anyone who uses it a racist.

However most marital problems are not due to differences but due to a failure in dealing with those differences. Many of the differences are actually what makes marriage so wonderful.

He has none. If there is a clear passage in the Bible that says what RBHill says, I will become an atheist forthwith. The passage I quote (plus ATY's) is the ones that people can twist to suit their needs.
