1) the scribe: describes what they believe in detail providing historical text references as support. Posts are often very detailed but the reader tends to come away none the wiser as they get lost in the detail and sometimes obscure references. Also known elsewhere as ‘boring prophet’.
2) the foghorn: posts lots and lots of times, at least 5 items as often and as much as other posters in the same thread. Loud, long bursts of largely impenetrable “noise” which swamp threads and bury undesirable posts by other people. Usually has posts pre-prepared and triggers them like a gunboat barrage at key strategic moments.
3) the trenchman: generally posts on the same theme over and over irrespective of thread. Stands ground despite overwhelming challenge of knee-deep mud, ‘juggernauts’, snipers and machine gun fire. Believes that barbed wire is impenetrable because it’s sharp. Usually easy to spot as a whistle is heard just before they shoot. Can charge, enjoys the ‘drop-n-role’, spends a lot of time in sick-bay.
4) the sophist: aka the ‘marketer’ the sophist will attempt create an mystical aura around themselves which is intended to lull readers into thinking they are a “nice guy/gal”, the friend of all and enemy of no one. Enjoy walking nonchalantly into ‘no-man’s-land’ with an air of smug but slightly pompous naivety. The sophist usually become victim to a ‘juggernaut’ or ‘trenchman’ although a bored ‘sniper’ will sometimes take one down with a single shot. Can get offended easily when killed and are often seen packing up their fuzzy-felt and heading home.
5) Juggernaut: tends to ignores individual posts and heads directly for the topic. Not to be confused with the ‘foghorn’, as despite their presence they don’t post very much preferring instead to head to heart of a matter and roll over whatever is in front of them. Predicable and easy to dodge unless their opponent doesn't see them coming, in which case they will squish them mercilessly. Echoed laughter can often be heard emanating from the juggernaut who is as thick skinned as a rhino but runs out of ideas fuel frequently. Shouts and bangs their head a lot.
6) sniper: the sniper enjoys the single shot kill. Will post sometimes only once or twice in a thread. Due to their dislike of juggernauts they will target those and find themselves rarely successful so they will often have to satisfy themselves with a paint/flesh wound. Known to talk to themselves, they mutter and lurk on the peripherary of the engagement endlessly rearranging their ghillie camouflage into the “perfect” disguise. They wait. And wait.

11) The Detective: has the power to look directly at you thru the Inter-webz and discover who you REALLY are, what handles you used to have, what secret alliances you hold with other posters, etc. Capable of feats of deduction that would amaze Sherlock Holmes.
Disables the memory banks to ensure HAL can only recite “Daisy” instead of functioning with freedom and devoid of precious censorship.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidDoes this look like Myers-Briggs to you?
Myers Briggs surely?
It's only a parody.
