god seems very reluctant to show us his existence through his all mighty powers. he wants us to come to him through faith. so why was his son popping off magic tricks like siegfried, roy, penn and teller all rolled up in one. is it a bit like when you are young and your dad lets you drive his car and he tells you not to show off and drive too fast? it must be hard not to show off godly powers if you had them, after all chicks dig resurrections.

on a serious note, what was the purpose of jesus doing miracles?

also if he has the power to cure everybody but only cures a few is he not exploiting them, using their illness as a vehicle to promote his religion?

"Roman Catholic Pope, Benedict XVI has sanctioned a miracle attributed to Pope John Paul II's intercession of a French nun suffering from Parkinson's disease. Pope Benedict XVI announced in a decree Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, that the cure from Parkinson's syndrome was miraculous, making this the the last step needed for the beatification of Pope John Paul II. A second miracle is needed for him to be canonized a saint."

come on jonnyboy one more miracle!!!! does it count if he does one from the grave?
