What's wrong with there being, what you refer to as, a "lack" of "objectivity" if one is seeking to express an anti-Catholic perspective about Christianity?

Is there anything wrong with there being "bias" when expressing perspectives on matters of faith, religious belief and even a lack of religious belief?

With my background, why would you think I'd want to "appeal to dominant Protestant bias against Catholicism"?

Who is pretending anything here? Who is being dishonest?

You might want to try looking on a Christian message board. There are scarcely any Catholicism v Protestantism discussions here. The nearest you get to Catholics here, for the most part, are ex-Catholics.

This is - de facto - more of a believers v non-believers message board, so to speak, and not a Christian forum per se. It's not even a Religion Forum.

If it would be more interesting for you to hear what some Catholics have to say in addition to non-Catholic Christians, you'd be better off on a Christian website or message board.

I can also corroborate your assertion that Catholicism is one of the major branches of Christianity.

Muslims, Jews and Hindus would all be "believers" ~ or theists ~ to my way of thinking. People who don't believe in supernatural beings [or deities] would be "non-believers". I'd describe this as a believers v non-believers forum rather than a Christian or a Religion Forum.

No one has suggested that Protestantism is "representative of all Christianity". I certainly haven't. You are getting in a muddle.
