The state wont invite you to worship Baal per say. When you get back on line we can (if you wish) discuss stuff that is creeping in.
So lets suppose we want to get you to commit idolatry. It is forbidden in the scriptures to bow before graven images. A lot of churches will say that it's ok because its Jesus/Mary/a crucifix /N E other. If you have done homage before one ...[text shortened]... will forgive the phrase).
Maybe not a great analogy but the best that I can do after a night out.
